"Slovak cookingdotcom, Rudy said his mom Libbie Wostrel made these and they had a bowl of brown sugar and cinnamon mixed together, also jam or honey. These are wicked good. Does not have baking powder and does not need it. Really apple intensive taste, make sure you have enough oil to fry with, I used large apples for this and I didnt peel them, your choice"

Step 1

Heat up oil in a frying pan.

Step 2

Scoop out the batter then spread throughout the frying pan with the ladle. Fry on one side for about 5 minutes, until golden brown. Carefully flip over using a spatula and fry on the other side for few more minutes.

Step 3

Add a bit of oil to the pan after each pancake.

Step 4

Mix cinnamon and powdered sugar, sift over pancakes.
