Step by Step Method

Step 1

Score flank steak on one side.

Step 2

Combine lime juice, orange juice, garlic, cumin, oregano, paprika and oil. Pour over steak. Marinate for 1 hour at room temperature or refrigerate overnight.

Step 3

Season flank steak with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until medium-rare.

Step 5

Remove steak from grill and let sit for 5 minutes before slicing against grain.

A great steak and a great marinade! I marinated our steak for about 4 hours in the fridge and it was so tender it could almost be cut with a fork! I forgot the salt and pepper but otherwise made as directed (actually I don't think it needed either one). I am going to try the marinade on chicken too! Thanks for sharing!
