Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook bacon in skillet on stove top until partially cooked. Turn off heat and with a slotted spoon, remove bacon from skillet and set aside.
Step 2
Turn heat back to medium-high and add onion and garlic to bacon grease; cook until just cooked and slightly golden; do not let overcook and burn.
Step 3
Add bacon, bacon grease mixture, undrained green beans, and chicken bouillon, into the slow cooker.
Step 4
Cook on high for 4 to 6 hours. Taste for seasoning and add enough salt and black pepper, if required. Enjoy!
