Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6-8 slices raw bacon, cut into pieces (1-2 inches)
  • 87 ounces green beans, undrained (6 cans)
  • 1 large onion peeled and quartered
  • 2 tablespoons chicken bouillon
  • 4-6 cloves garlic, peeled
  • Kosher or sea salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook bacon in skillet on stove top until partially cooked. Turn off heat and with a slotted spoon, remove bacon from skillet and set aside.

  • Step 2: Turn heat back to medium-high and add onion and garlic to bacon grease; cook until just cooked and slightly golden; do not let overcook and burn.

  • Step 3: Add bacon, bacon grease mixture, undrained green beans, and chicken bouillon, into the slow cooker.

  • Step 4: Cook on high for 4 to 6 hours. Taste for seasoning and add enough salt and black pepper, if required. Enjoy!
