Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat oven to 400°.

Step 2

Slice potatoes in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 1/4- to 1/2-inch-thick fries; pat dry with a paper towel.

Step 3

In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs with spices.

Step 4

In another bowl, whisk egg whites until foamy, about 1 minute; add fries to coat. Toss fries in spice mixture until evenly coated.

Step 5

Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray; arrange fries on sheet with space in between; spritz fries with cooking spray.

Step 6

Bake, turning once, until fries are golden and crispy, about 20 minutes.

I left off the oregano but otherwise made the same. They were crispy when I took them out of the oven. I left them in about 8 mins longer and they were so yummy and done just right!

These are easy to make and healthier than regular fries. Great flavor in the seasoning and went well with our turkey burgers. Will be making these again.
