"Created this tonight to make cauliflower a little different. My husband said it was very good, which is usually a good sign that it's a winner."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Break down head of cauliflower into small florets. Or you can use 2 12 ounce bags of fresh florets. Place in a large bowl.

Step 3

In a small bowl, whisk together the rest of the ingredients, EXCEPT the bacon and Panko breadcrumbs, adding only enough of the water to make it the consistency of a bottled creamy salad dressing. Pour over cauliflower florets and toss to coat all.

Step 4

Pour into a baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 5

Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and Panko breadcrumbs.

Step 6

Bake in preheated 350 degree F. oven for 55-60 minutes, or until lightly browned and tender-crisp.

I made this for my birthday dinner a couple of nights ago. I wanted a much-favored mango glazed salmon recipe & a tasty veggie side to go w/it. DH found cauliflower on-sale & I'd already saved your recipe to my "Recipe Radar" cookbook, so it was fate. Like another reviewer, I could have easily made a meal of your cauliflower & darn near did when I ignored any semblance of portion control. It's a tasty & ingredient-friendly easy-fix that will be repeated often & likely shared w/our family & friends. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us. :-)

This is a winner. I could have made a meal out of the cauliflower alone. Delish and very easy to do. A keeper for sure

I made these without the cheese due to a dairy intolerance and it turned out perfectly tasty. This will see many repeats here.

YUM! I did make one change (I was out of mayonnaise, so I used Alfredo sauce and left out the water), but this was so darn good! Just the right mixture of flavours, not too salty, and very tasty. I would suggest stirring a couple of times while baking just to make sure the cauliflower on top doesn't get too dry. Definitely one to make again!
