Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add powdered sugar, pudding, and milk and mix. Fold in Cool Whip.

Spread over top of a 13x9 cake. Refrigerate.

My daughter wanted to bake today and we found a cake mix in the pantry and no frosting. I had the ingredients for this (chocolate instant pudding) and had no idea what to expect but decided to try it. It’s surprisingly good! I don’t like super sweet frosting so I omitted the powdered sugar. Glad I made this.
