"Here's a clever creation from Jamielyn @ www.iheartnaptime.net -- All the goodness of an Almond Joy candy bar. RE TIMES: It was tricky to estimate times as they tended to overlap. You are making the dip while the coconut & almonds are toasting & cooling. Then it comes together at the end when the dip is ready & the coconut & almonds are toasted, cooled & ready to combine w/the dip. This is sure to become a family favorite when served w/graham crackers, vanilla wafers, shortbread, sliced pound cake or fresh fruits of choice like apples, pineapple or strawberries. ENJOY!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
If you are toasting your own coconut & almonds, do that first & place them in the freezer to cool while you prepare the dip.
Step 2
Beat cream cheese & butter in a mixing bowl until smooth & creamy. Beat in powdered sugar, 1 tbsp of the milk, coconut extract & vanilla extract. Stir in the toasted coconut, chocolate chips & sliced almonds. Add more milk as needed.
Step 3
You can serve immediately or chill for 30 min to several hrs. It actually tastes better after the flavors have had a chance to blend.
