Step 1

Melt butter in the skillet. Add garlic and cook stirring constantly about 1-2 minutes.

Step 2

Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, basil and lemon zest; season with salt, pepper and cayenne to taste. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.

Thank you so much or sweety_Lisa for such a delicious sauce that is just so easy to put together and though beautifully creamy is not heavy on the system and the parmesan I used added a slightly nutty flavour to it and went so well with my oven baked foiled fish fillet definitely a keeper in my book and look forward to having it again over some poached chicken just adds so much flavour to a plain piece of protein. Made for the Alphabet Soup tag game.
