I made this simple dish to go with chicken this weekend. My family loved it. I didn't add any salt while this was cooking and let everyone salt their own helping at the table. Worked well because my family can never agree on how much salt a dish should have. lol. Thanks for sharing, Dee.

I made this to have with a leftover piece of steak and mashed potatoes tonight for dinner. I cut the salt wayyy down as I am now restricting my salt. I used fresh corn off the ear, and it was so tender. It was delicious! Thank you for this one Dienia! Linda

I followed the recipe as written and found that this is a quick and nice way to make your everyday corn creamy. I didn’t use the 2 teaspoons of salt because it would be too much, but rather cut it down to 1 teaspoon. With the 1 teaspoon I found it to be on the salty side and therefore added a few sprinkles of lemon juice to cut down the saltiness. I also added more sugar than what is indicated. It looks like that maybe the salt and sugar amounts were transposed? All and all with the corrections and for its ease this recipe is a keeper and a definite repeat. Thank you dienia b for sharing.
