Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix the chicken stock, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and white pepper and set aside.

Step 2

Heat the wok over high heat.

Pour 2 tablespoons of canola oil around the perimeter of the wok, stir in the garlic and red pepper flakes.

Step 4

Add broccoli and shrimp and mushrooms.

Step 5

Heat and add the Shaoxing wine.

Step 6

Add the chicken stock mixture.

Step 7

Bring the sauce up to a boil,

Once everything comes to a boil, mix in the cornstarch and water mixed in small bowl.

Step 9

Cook until the sauce thickens and starts to cling to the shrimp and broccoli.
