Step by Step Method

Step 1

Empty a 3 ounce package of Jello into blender.,can be any flavor ,i like cherry

Step 2

Bring some water to a boil, measure 3/4 cup and add to blender.

Step 3

Cover and blend 30 seconds to dissolve gelatin.

Step 4

Add 1 1/2 cups crushed ice. Cover, blend again until ice is melted - about 30 seconds more.

Step 5

Immediately pour into small clear dishes or parfait glasses.

Step 6

This dessert forms a chiffon top layer and a clear bottom layer.

Sorry, this didn't quite work for me. When I blended in the ice, I got a thick, pudding like mass, which wouldn't pour. I added a bit more boiling water to thin it out, but then is didn't make a clear layer.
