Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a large bowl mash the chickpeas.
Step 2
Add the avocado, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and seasonings.

And using a fork or a potato masher, smash the ingredients until coarsely mashed.

Taste and adjust the seasoning at this stage.
Step 5
Take a sandwich bread and apply some smashed chickpea avocado mixture generously on one slice of the bread.
