Step 1

Prebake the pie shell according to package directions.

Step 2

In the bowl of an electric mixed blend the cream cheese and condensed milk together. Add lemon juice and blend. Add vanilla and blend.

Step 3

Pour mixture into prepared pie crust. Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight.

Step 4

The next day, pour the cherry pie filling on top and chill until served.

So easy to make and really delish. I made this pie for Valentine's Day. Made just as directed except I used "sweetened" condensed milk and while I couldn't find mention of how much lemon juice -- I added a teaspoon full. Thanks for posting this yummy dessert.

Kerfuffle-Upon-Wincle (KUW)

Just as I remembered it from many years ago! Delicious frozen too! I used a store-bought graham cracker crust, used sweetened condensed milk because I've never seen unsweetened to buy, and added the juice of one small lemon to cut the sweetness of the filling. (Original photos taken March 2nd were blurred; photo shown is from a frozen slice taken on March 7th.) Tagged for Billboard game, reviewed and reported March 2.
