Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180C (160C fan forced).
Step 2
Line two large baking trays.
Step 3
Place butter and flours into a food processor and blend until the mixture just comes together and then add the cheeses (or cheese if not using a blend) and chives and blend until combined and transfer the mixture to a clean work surface and bring together to form a ball and then chill briefly if needed and then roll out dough to form a log and wrap in plastic wrap and continue t roll and shape to along that is about 24cm long and 4cm wide and chill if needed.
Step 4
Remove plastic and cut into rounds 1cm thick and place round on prepared trays and sprinkle with a little water and top each with cracked black pepper and sesame seeds.
Step 5
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until lightly golden and cool completely on trays before serving.
