Step 1

Cut broccoli into bite-size florets & do the same with the cauliflower, before steaming for 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp yet tender.

Step 2

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat, then add the bell pepper & garlic & saute 3 to 5 minutes or until tender.

Step 3

Stir in the broccoli, cauliflower, mustard, salt & lemon pepper, & allow vegetables to become completely coated before serving.

Lovely presentation for this tasty recipe. I only steamed the vegetables for 4 minutes (I like my veggies still crisp). I steamed them early in the day and just before serving finished them in the skillet with the peppers, garlic and mustard. Tasty, easy side dish that will be made again

This is a great veggie recipe...tons of flavour and I too halved the recipe and added the full amount of Dijon. I did not use the red pepper as it does not like me...so I used tomato and it was wonderful in this.  Will be making this again! Thank you for sharing!
