Step by Step Method

Step 1

Bake as for lemon pie.

Step 2

This is what I'm guessing has to happen:

Mix the egg yolks, extract, buttermilk, flour and salt together. Pour into baked pie shell.

Step 4

Bake 25 minutes or until set.

Step 5

Pour over egg whites.

Step 6

Brown in oven 5 more minutes.
