  • 1 pie crust (baked)
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites (beaten stiff)
  • Salt
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bake as for lemon pie.

  • Step 2: This is what I'm guessing has to happen:

  • Step 3: Mix the egg yolks, extract, buttermilk, flour and salt together. Pour into baked pie shell.

  • Step 4: Bake 25 minutes or until set.

  • Step 5: Pour over egg whites.

  • Step 6: Brown in oven 5 more minutes.
