"This uses powdered buttermilk (SACO or Bob's Red Mill for example). I always have the SACO brand in the refrigerator (it hardens up and becomes unusable if not stored in the fridge after opening). I got tired of buying real buttermilk for a recipe and having it leftover (hate drinking the stuff). Use this as a vegie dip."
