Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2
Add celery, onions and garlic.
Step 3
Cook and stir until vegetables begin to soften, about 3 minutes.

Add bulgur, cranberries, orange zest and five-spice powder.
Step 5
Cook and stir for 1 more minute.
Step 6
Add broth and salt.
Step 7
Bring to a boil.
Step 8
Reduce heat to low.
Step 9
Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until liquid has been absorbed and bulgur is tender.
Step 10
Remove from heat and let stand, covered for 5 minutes before serving.
