Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Set oven rack to second-lowest position.

Step 2

Pour the melted butter into a 15-inch x 10-inch pan (can use a 13 x 9-inch pan)

Step 3

Sprinkle with vanilla wafer crumbs evenly on top.

Step 4

Arrange fruits and nuts (and coconut, if using) evenly on top of the crumb mixture; press down gently.

Step 5

Combine the sweetened condensed milk with the Bourbon; pour evenly over top of fruit/nut mixture.

Step 6

Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Step 7

Remove from oven; cool completely.

Step 8

Cut in squares.
