Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450F.

Step 2

Mix sugar, flour, and baking powder in a bowl and sift

Step 3

Add the cold milk into dry ingredients and mix.

Step 4

As dough begins to form, use a cheese grater to grate your frozen butter evenly over dough.

Step 5

Fold dough, and knead… repeat until all butter is spread evenly throughout dough, dont work to much.

Step 6

Fold in the blueberries that you have coated with flour .

Step 7

Roll dough out- 1/2 thick (or to desired thickness) and cut approximately 6 biscuits

Step 8

Place on un-greased cookie sheet Place in oven and bake for about 7-12 minutes (until golden).

Step 9

Mix glaze ingredients in a bowl, and drizzle over Biscuits

I'm not really a pro at making biscuits but these I must say turned out quite well, the success may have been attributed to the frozen butter and possible some luck LOL, probably the frozen butter, at any rate this will be one I will make again I am hoping they turn out just as good the next time, I am extremely delighted to finally find a biscuit recipe I have had luck with and the addition of blueberries and glaze was shall we say, the icing on the biscuit :) dienia I loved your biscuit recipe, thanks for sharing it here
