Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter (frozen, you are going to grate it later)
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup frozen (2.6 ounces) blueberries (frozen with flour over them)
  • GLAZE
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 450F.

  • Step 2: Mix sugar, flour, and baking powder in a bowl and sift

  • Step 3: Add the cold milk into dry ingredients and mix.

  • Step 4: As dough begins to form, use a cheese grater to grate your frozen butter evenly over dough.

  • Step 5: Fold dough, and knead… repeat until all butter is spread evenly throughout dough, dont work to much.

  • Step 6: Fold in the blueberries that you have coated with flour .

  • Step 7: Roll dough out- 1/2 thick (or to desired thickness) and cut approximately 6 biscuits

  • Step 8: Place on un-greased cookie sheet Place in oven and bake for about 7-12 minutes (until golden).

  • Step 9: Mix glaze ingredients in a bowl, and drizzle over Biscuits
