"There are many versions of Tex Mex Burgers and this is mine. The dressing adds to making this burger special - so simple but so tasty. Make four burgers if you wish - I like a larger burger so I just make 3. I like to toast and butter my bun."

Step 1
Mix together the Ground beef, jalapeno, chopped onion, garlic, 2 teaspoons cajun sseasoning and worchestershire sauce
Step 2
Shape the meat mixture into 3 patties, set aside
Step 3
Mix together the mayo and 1 1/2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
Step 4
Heat the oil in a skillet (that has a lid) over high heat, add burgers, cook for 2 minutes
Step 5
Turn heat down to medium, flip the burgers and cover with a lid, cook for 4 minutes, flip and continue cooking for about 2 more minutes, add cheese slices, cover pan, cook for about another 2-3 minutes or until they are done to your liking. You may flip the burgers a couple of times before adding the cheese if they seem to be browning too quickly
Step 6
Assemble burgers adding a good spoonful of the cajun mayo to the top. add any condiments that you enjoy besides the lettuce, tomato nd onion
