"With only five simple ingredients, this ice cream is bound to be a favorite among young and old. Make sure you're using ripe, tender kiwifruit - to get the full sweet flavor of the fruit!"
Peel the kiwifruit and mash them in a bowl until pureed.
Stir 2 tablespoons sugar into the fruit, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Whisk the eggs in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. Whisk 1 cup sugar into the eggs, a little at a time, then continue whisking until completely blended, about 1 minute more.
Pour in the cream and whisk to blend.
After the kiwi has spent 1 hour cooling in the refrigerator, stir the kiwifruit into the egg, sugar, and cream mixture.
Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following the manufacturer's instructions.
