Step by Step Method
Step 1
Marinate steaks in marinade for 2 hours.
Step 2
Saute steaks in butter; remove from pan when cooked to doneness you like.
Step 3
Add mushrooms to pan. add shallots and peppercorns.
Step 4
Add brandy OFF stove.
Step 5
Deglaze pan, scraping browned bits off bottom of pan. if you dont want to waste marinade add here. Don't ignite; fire scares me.
Step 6
Add cream. meanwhile butter both sides of texas toast ( which is thicker cut bread )and grill until browned on both sides make toast points by cutting in half
Step 7
Reduce; pour over steaks.
