Step 1

Dice the vegetables.

Step 2

Brown the ground beef. Drain.

Step 3

Add onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Cook until wilted. Add the diced cabbage. Add tomatoes juice and all. Add Worcestershire sauce. Add pepper. Add 2 cups water. Add bouillon cubes and drained beans. Cook 30 minutes.

Love the over all flavor but found it a bit to salty. Next time I will try low sodium bouillon instead of regular bouillon. Over all a good recipe. Thanks for the post.

Love cabbage which had me sure I would love this soup ... and I did! Never have had Shoney's Beef and Cabbage soup but if it tastes as good as this - it's a winner! Thank you for sharing Dienia, added to my Favorite Soup Cookbook.
