"A quick 5 ingredient recipe. Now, I like my outdoor grill for this; but, a indoor grill pan will work just fine. I ended up 'doctoring' up a generic store bought BBQ sauce, with some citrus flavors - which really went well with the salmon. But, you could always use your favorite sauce if you wanted. Done in about 10-15, minutes depending on the thickness of your fish. I am sure this could be broiled or baked; but, it would not have the same flavors as the grill."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Sauce ... Add the BBQ sauce, orange juice, marmalade and optional chipotle powder or sauce to a small bowl; and, mix to combine. Set to the side.

Step 2

Salmon ... Remove from the fridge, and let it come to room temperature. You never want to cook with cold fish. Then, season with the citrus (or all purpose) seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

Grill ... I really feel that an outdoor grill or grill pan works best for this recipe. Grill, on medium high heat, flesh side down for 2-3 minutes; then, turn over. Immediately brush the top with some of the BBQ sauce. Flip again for 2 minutes, then flip back to the skin side down. Brush again with the BBQ sauce and finish cooking; about 5-7 minutes. Make sure to brush again with the BBQ sauce. The cooking time can vary according to the thickness of the salmon.

Step 4

Serve and ENJOY! ...Remove the salmon from the grill, and let it rest a couple of minutes before serving. This is so quick and easy - serve with just about anything.
