Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine sea salt, baking soda and Epsom salts in a bowl; blend well. Store in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Step 2

For each bath, use 1/4 cup bath salts plus 1-2 tablespoons glycerin (more for dry skin, less for oily skin), plus any essential oils you might desire.

Step 3

Make sure to keep the glycerin and essential oils stored separately until use.

I have been enjoying this bath soak which soothes and I agree, it does leave your skin feeling clean and smooth. I make up the basic recipe as posted but have also have added almond oil. Found baby oil worked equally well when my glycerin supply ran out. Keeper!
