Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook the bacon until crisp and crumble.
Step 2
Mix the barbecue sauce and mayonnaise together in a small bowl.
Step 3
In a large bowl, add the crumbled bacon, dried minced onion, and steak seasoning.

Add 4 tablespoons of the barbecue sauce and mayonnaise mixture; stir to combine these ingredients.

Add the ground beef to this mixture.
Step 6
Using your hands, mix the ingredients evenly into the ground beef.

Let rest in frig for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Form the ground beef into 8 patties.
Step 9
Grill, covered, over medium hot grill for 6 to 7 minutes.
Step 10
Flip and grill another 5 or 6 minutes.
Step 11
Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and grill until it has melted, 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 12
Spread the hamburger buns with a little of the barbecue and mayonnaise mixture. Add the burger, lettuce and tomato.
