"I clipped this recipe from a magazine years ago (probably Cooking Light). I've a fan of roasted vegetables, asparagus and anything with balsamic vinegar, but somehow have not tried this as the recipe got lost in my recipe box. Now that it is hear, it will be on the menu the next time asparagus is in season."
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Snap off tough ends of asparagus. Place on a jelly roll pan.
Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar. Sprinkle with salt, garlic and pepper. Toss to coat.
Bake for 10 minutes, turning once.

Yummy way to prepare asparagus! I was surprised at how un-garlicky they tasted . Next time will sprinkle on some garlic salt and bake a little longer.
I love asparagus any way it is prepared, and this one comes in second to grilled. Perfect for a night when you can't get outside to grill. Delicious, and the cook time was perfect The asparagus was still nice and crisp and perfectly colored. Thanks for sharing!
Lots of flavor going on and very easy to make. My asparagus was on the this side, so roasted a couple of minutes less than called for.
I love roasted asparagus and with the added balsamic they are wonderful. This will be a regular.
I halved this recipe, and made it for 2 of us, but I must admit to eating most of it.
This is so easy to prepare and the timings are perfect.
We really did enjoy the asparagus made this way, the balsamic added a wonderful flavor and complimented the asparagus really well.
Served with chicken and corn this made for a lovely side dish, but even served on its own would be delsih as well!
