Step 1

Preheat oven to 425F.

Step 2

Sprinkle the crumbled cookies in buttered 2 quart casserole dish.

Step 3

In mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, beaten eggs, sugar, and spices until mixed well; pour mixture over cookies. Sprinkle nuts on top.

Step 4

Bake 15 minutes.

Step 5

Reduce heat to 350F. Bake 40-50 minutes more, or until knife inserted in custard comes out clean.

Step 6

Slice and serve with whipped cream.

When I made this I planned on taking it to my son at college, but it never made it that far. My husband wanted to test it and ended up having a huge dish full. Looks like I will have to make another one for my son because this one is long gone! Deeeeeeliciousssss!!!
