Step 1: Preheat oven to 425F.
Step 2: Sprinkle the crumbled cookies in buttered 2 quart casserole dish.
Step 3: In mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, beaten eggs, sugar, and spices until mixed well; pour mixture over cookies. Sprinkle nuts on top.
Step 4: Bake 15 minutes.
Step 5: Reduce heat to 350F. Bake 40-50 minutes more, or until knife inserted in custard comes out clean.
Step 6: Slice and serve with whipped cream.
