  • 1 can (12 ounce) evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Whipped cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 425F.

  • Step 2: Sprinkle the crumbled cookies in buttered 2 quart casserole dish.

  • Step 3: In mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, beaten eggs, sugar, and spices until mixed well; pour mixture over cookies. Sprinkle nuts on top.

  • Step 4: Bake 15 minutes.

  • Step 5: Reduce heat to 350F. Bake 40-50 minutes more, or until knife inserted in custard comes out clean.

  • Step 6: Slice and serve with whipped cream.
