Step 1

Combine the cream cheese and garlic.

Step 2

Place the mushrooms on a foil-lined baking tray, stalk side up and spray with the oil and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Cook under a preheated grill/broiler at medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until tender and allow to cool slightly.

Step 4

Spoon a dollop of the cheese mixture onto the mushrooms and top with the prosciutto and a sprinkle of chives and serve immediately.

This was so easy to prepare and I will be making them again...these would be great for a dinner party or even a backyard get together...I cut this way, way down to 3 mushrooms...I should have cooked them a bit more but I really didn't set the timer so they had more of a bite than I think they should have had...but we loved them...made for "Went to Market" tag game...
