"This was really good when I made it and I`ve made it more than once we all (my family) loved it all the times I made it so I want to post it here, I have sort of a large family so I needed to increase amounts by another half and bake it in a large dish"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Cook pasta only half the time that is on the package, then drain the pasta.
Step 2
In a skillet, cook sausage meat over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain all the fat.
Step 3
In a bowl mix together the halfway cooked pasta, beef, pasta sauce and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese (I always add in more mozza cheese) and cottage cheese, then you add salt and pepper.
Step 4
Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese and then the Parmesan cheese over the top.
Step 5
Bake uncovered 20-30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
