Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2

Using a mortar and pestle mash the juniper berries, garlic and salt until a smooth paste appears.

Step 3

In an overproof casserole heat the oil over medium heat; stir in paste. Add cabbage and stir until cabbage is covered with oil.

Step 4

Transfer to the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
