Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375F. Coat an 8 x 8-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2

Mix oil and vinegar together in a small bowl.

Step 3

Place salmon fillets in prepared baking dish and rub garlic into them. Pour oil and vinegar over them, turning once to coat.

Step 4

Sprinkle with cilantro and basil and season with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Let marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily and is no longer transparent in center.

Step 7

Drizzle some of the sauce over each piece to serve.

This salmon has some awesome flavors going on...the hubby wanted his normal hide the salmon mayo and ketchup mixture...but he didn't even use it...he said that the salmon as is was delicious...and it is...Made for Pick Me tag game...

I made the fish as in the recipe except I omitted the cilantro. It was delicious! I loved the sweetness of the balsamic with the basil and garlic. Such a great combination of flavors with the fish. I will definitely make this again! Thank you for another great recipe Mikekey! Linda
