"I found this recipe several years ago but I don't remember where I got it from. These are really yummy brownies. Times do not include the cooling time."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Melt unsweetened chocolate with butter in microwave and mix well. Cool.

Step 2

Beat sugar and eggs together in mixing bowl.

Step 3

Add Bailey's Irish Cream and cooled chocolate mixture. Mix well.

Step 4

Stir in flour, salt and chocolate chips.

Step 5

Pour into greased and floured 8-inch square baking pan. Bake at 325F for approximately 20 minutes (test with wooden pick).

Step 6

Cool completely (about 1 1/2 hours).

Step 7

Pierce brownies with a wooden pick randomly. Drizzle 3 tablespoons Bailey's Irish Cream over brownies, then frost.

FROSTING


Step 8

In mixing bowl, combine liqueur and butter. Mix well.

Step 9

Gradually add confectioners' sugar and beat until spreading consistency.

Step 10

Frost cooled brownies.

Oh my, what an amazing version of brownies. I made this for a celebratory occasion and they were inhaled by an appreciative crowd (6 people). These are so chewy, moist and good! The frosting is delicious too. Once you have one you automatically head back to the dish for another. Saving it for future use!

These are some awesome brownies that we woofed down. I added walnuts because nuts make everything better. The kids told me I can make them anytime so into my Favs this one goes!

Picky Palate

I made these for dessert for our Irish dinner and they came out absolutely amazing! I loved the frosting! The only thing I did that deviated away from the recipe was to add 1 cup of walnuts. Mmmmmm mmm good!
