Ingredients

  • 3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 3 tablespoons Irish Cream (Bailey's)
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt (1 dash)
  • 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • FROSTING
  • 3 tablespoons butter (softened)
  • 4 tablespoons Irish Cream (Bailey's)
  • 3 cups confectioner's sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt unsweetened chocolate with butter in microwave and mix well. Cool.

  • Step 2: Beat sugar and eggs together in mixing bowl.

  • Step 3: Add Bailey's Irish Cream and cooled chocolate mixture. Mix well.

  • Step 4: Stir in flour, salt and chocolate chips.

  • Step 5: Pour into greased and floured 8-inch square baking pan. Bake at 325F for approximately 20 minutes (test with wooden pick).

  • Step 6: Cool completely (about 1 1/2 hours).

  • Step 7: Pierce brownies with a wooden pick randomly. Drizzle 3 tablespoons Bailey's Irish Cream over brownies, then frost.

  • FROSTING

  • Step 8: In mixing bowl, combine liqueur and butter. Mix well.

  • Step 9: Gradually add confectioners' sugar and beat until spreading consistency.

  • Step 10: Frost cooled brownies.
