"It's like our hotdogs but with pork sausage. They are supposedly better. lol I'm using hotdogs. And they use cheap white bread, grilled onions and BBQ sauce and perhaps tomato sauce, (ketchup?) Add mustard or not, there seems to be a debate about this. Some butter the bread some don't. Some put the dog diagonal and some straight. It's a very common school sandwich. And of course, some grill it."

This took a simple dog on a roll to a whole other level. Came out delicious and I would completely recommend that for your next cook-out where you would impress guests and tickle their taste-buds to follow this recipe and you will get loads of compliments. The compliments are what I got from the fam. Thank you, Dee, for sharing.

Yum! The caramelized onions and bbq sauce are winners on these hot dogs. I usually either boil or grill my hot dogs, cooking them in a pan worked really well.
