Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Blend together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Stir in apples.
Step 4
Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients.
Step 5
Combine and add egg, milk and vegetable oil.
Step 6
Stir only until combined; the batter should be lumpy.
Step 7
Fill 10 lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
Step 8
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes

Serve warm with a pat of butter.....
