Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Blend together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Step 3: Stir in apples.
Step 4: Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients.
Step 5: Combine and add egg, milk and vegetable oil.
Step 6: Stir only until combined; the batter should be lumpy.
Step 7: Fill 10 lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
Step 8: Bake for 20 to 25 minutes
Step 9: Serve warm with a pat of butter.....
