Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Step 2
Place sugar, flour and salt in a bowl mix well. Add small cubes of butter at time rubbing until mixture resembles breadcrumbs
Step 3
Place apples in a medium bowl and sprinkle over flour, cinnamon and brown sugar. Mix well not breaking up the fruit
Step 4
Butter a 9 inch ovenproof dish and place filling in it. Sprinkle the crumble over the top
Step 5
Place in oven for 45 minutes until mixture is bubbling
Step 6
Serve with custard, cream or ice cream
