"The perfect cocktail for the Fall and Winter. This is a wonderful drink to sip on after a big dinner or while sitting in front of the fireplace. You can simmer it on the stove, or you easily make this in the crock pot. You can easily cut this recipe in half, but usually when I serve this, I count on 2 cups per person - and it is so good, sometimes even more. Perfect for a crowd when entertaining."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Add everything to a pot and bring to a light boil. Reduce to low and simmer 20-30 minutes. This can also be done in the crock pot. Turn on medium high to high - it should take 1 1/2-2 hours; it really depends on the size and type of crock pot. I prefer the stove because not only is it easier to me, but your whole house will smell wonderful. ENJOY!
