Step by Step Method
Step 1
Soak bran in hot water at least 10 minutes to soften. DRAIN WELL.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 400' F.

Combine bran, milk, eggs, sugar, and oil or butter in bowl.

Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cloves and add to batter.
Step 5
Stir in apples and raisins and spoon into well-greased muffin tins.
Step 6
Bake 25 minutes or till done. Serve hot.
