Step 1

Preheat a barbecue grill on high.

Step 2

Toast both halves of the bun, face down, in a hot skillet.

Step 3

Set aside.

Step 4

Form the beef into a thin patty slightly larger than the bun.

Step 5

Lightly salt the hamburger patty and cook on the barbecue grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Step 6

Build the burger in the following stacking order from the bottom up: bottom bun, hamburger patty, Pepper Jack cheese, jalapenos, bacon, Angry Whopper sauce, onion petals, tomatoes, lettuce, top bun.

Wonderful succulent burger! My family and I all enjoyed this burger very much . Grilled it over a charcoal grill which gave it the smokey taste. The angry sauce is a must and the bacon too! Thank you Dienia for sharing such a delicious tasting burger! Made it for Billboard Tag.

An easy 5 stars dienia, wow was this burger good, one of the best I've had in a long time. I used ground sirloin, maple bacon and cherry tomatoes, it was what I had on hand. Otherwise made exactly as written and wouldn't change a thing. Everything was so good and balanced. I even made your Angry Whopper Sauce, couldn't imagine this delicious burger without it. Kudos on making it into my Best of Cookbook for 2018 with this treat. Made for Best of 2017, as recommended by Teresa and Lazyme.

Bergy (RIP" Forever in our Kitchen)

This is a super burger! The sauce is just right with enough heat to make it interesting but won't take your head off. I omitted the bacon and used cheddar instead of Pepper Jack. Loved the sauce & the Burger

I really enjoyed this burger.......except that mine was mile-high by the time I added all of the goodies. lol. I also made your Angry Whopper Sauce and it was a great addition. Thanks for sharing, Dee.

I doubled this recipe for the hubby and I...we loved's spicy hot...but not too much for us heat loving people...I didn't have the pepper jack cheese so just use cheddar...I did prepare your to use on the burger...made for "Bill Board" tag game...
