"Due to the fact that I now live in the middle of nowhere, I've had to learn to make good pizza. We love the garlic in the dough but if you don't, simply leave it out. My breadmachine takes two hours to prepare the dough. It's read to use at that point. "Cook time" is the dough cycle time. Pizza cooking time is 20-30 minutes depending on how thick your toppings."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place all ingredients in bread machine pan in order recommended by your machine's manual.

Step 2

Process on Pizza Dough or Dough cycle.

Step 3

Divide dough in two for two 12" pizzas.

Step 4

Grease 12" pizza pan. Stretch dough to fit. At this point I let the dough set and rise while I chop the toppings. You do not have to let it rise, we just like it better.

Top with sauce and ingredients of your choice.

Step 7

To freeze. Place remaining dough in freezer bag. Squeeze out all air and seal. To use. Thaw overnight in refrigerator.

Garlic being one of my top favorite ingredients, made this dough a must make for pizza day. Given that I don’t have a bread machine, adjusted it by adding more water and proceeded with the dough in the traditional manner. Came out really good. Made a couple of different pizza’s and we sure loved the results that this dough provided. Thank you, racrgal, for sharing. Made it for B'Zazzled and What's on the Menu tag games.

We love garlic and so when I saw this I wanted to make it with my new bread machine. It worked out well for me and I did take the suggestion and let the dough sit for a bit before making the pizza. We loved the texture of the dough and I liked that it wasn't a real thick crust, because I like thin crust pizza. A definite make again crust for me!

I made this recipe on 6/26/ for the Garlic Festival portion of the " SUMMER VACATION TOUR " in the Games Forum. I knew I didn't need the full recipe,so only half was made.Everything was going very well until I got to the part about the flour,I wasn't sure of what type was needed. I proceeded with the recipe by using bread flour. And after removing the dough from the machine and letting it rest as suggested by Dissie, I realized that I should have used all-purpose flour. Because it grew faster than Pinocchio's nose, now I know better. :) The crust did have a slight chew to it,and browned up very nicely. For the toppings I used, " Little Caesar's Pizza Sauce " posted by NightBaker and ground pork seasoned with " Seasoning for Ground Pork (Italian-Style Sausage)" By Kittencal. The toppings also included yellow and orange peppers with sweet onions. Thanks for posting and, " Keep Smiling :) "

This was a great recipe. I used the garlic and it was yummy. I tried to use the dough, right out of the machine, and I would recommend letting it sit for a bit. The longer it sits, the easier it is to spread out. Thanks for a great easy recipe!
