Step by Step Method

Step 1

Draw a 28cm x 35cm rectangle onto a sheet of baking paper ande then place paper, trace-side down, onto a greased, large oven tray.

Step 2

Place chocolate in a large heatproof bowl and sit bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until melted and smooth and then remove bowl.

Step 3

Pour chocolate into the centre of rectangle on tray and spread to edges and sprinkle with mini marshmellows, rice bubbles, peanuts and cranberries and gently press into chocolate and then refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until set.

Step 4

Break into large shards to serve.

TIP! For a change, replace peanuts with roasted almonds, and cranberries with chopped red licorice. Divide bark among cellophane bags, tie with ribbon, to give as gift or simply enjoy as an after-dinner treat

Daily Inspiration

This chocolate bark is really easy to make and we love it because you can nibble on it a little at a time - no big helpings as it is rich. I used dark chocolate as that is our favorite. It would be easy to switch nuts and add pecans or almonds as well. : )
