Another winner. I love hoisin sauce, this a first using it in Asian meatballs and wont be the last. I used cilantro in the sauce but suspect basil would be just as good. Didn't find ginger at my last shop which had me needing to use less, using my zester did make for a lovely ginger flavor. Served over rice, adding the extra to my freezer stash and serve with rice noodles next time around. Love zesty!

Definitely a wonderful recipe worthy of making again and again! Using the beef option ~ and omitting the cilantro & everything else as per the recipe. Wonderful flavors and as for the sauce ~ it is just the perfect compliment to the meatballs. A great comfort recipe that is so warming and delicious and just the perfect meal for a cold winters evening!

10 Stars! I made a couple of changes-used ground turkey instead of beef, and made slightly larger meatballs and baked about 5 minutes longer. I doubled the sauce, since we were having this with soba noodles and needed sauce for the noodles. I used the cilantro option in the sauce. Lots of flavor going on and just the right amount of “heat”.

These meatballs are delicious!!!! I did not use peanut butter, simply omitted it because SIL has an allergy and I added diced red peppers. Also I did not use fresh cilantro (hard to find this time of year) I used the dried stuff. I served this with rice and it made for a great meal.

These are definitely not shy whatsoever on flavor! These would make great apps for my next party or served for dinner just like we did tonight along with some rice. Because I wanted to use the full measure of the coconut milk can I doubled the remaining sauce ingredients, except that I cut the peanut butter by half because I'm not a fan of peanut butter in savory dishes. Found that for my taste, I'd rather not use the peanut butter and double the coconut milk only. Flavor was fab Luvcookn and thank you for sharing!
