Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Cut in cold butter cubes until mixture resembles small peas.

In separate bowl, combine milk and eggs; add to dry ingredients mixing with a spoon just moist (do not over stir!).

Step 4

Lightly grease bottom only of 8x8 pan.

Step 5

Pour batter into pan.

Bake at 350F 22 minutes or until golden brown.
